At Moorgate Farm the family specialise in rearing the award-winning KellyBronze turkeys, starting with just 150 birds and growing steadily through dedication and excellence. our turkeys are the pride of everything we do. In 1999 we began our journey with three small children, one of these children Freddie has become a very important member of the business, now with his children joining in with the every day caring of the farm animals.
Our turkeys are reared slowly and naturally, free-range on lush pastures, using time-honoured farming methods that bring out unbeatable texture and flavour. This traditional approach allows the birds to develop naturally, resulting in tender, succulent meat with a rich, distinctive taste that’s second to none.

Our KellyBronze Turkeys are over twice the age of the standard intensively reared turkey, this doubles the farming costs but quadruples the flavour. Maturity has the biggest single impact on flavour, a KellyBronze has well marbled meat and award winning flavour. The result is a succulent, full-flavoured turkey that’s the centrepiece of any special meal.
